Tulu Bayar's installation 'Page' was inspired by the book 'War Nurse', which she bought from a used book dealer. The artist used the book, which is based on real events and tells the story of a rich New York family's son who voluntarily participated in the First World War, to create an ambiguous connection between the past and the present that 'can mean more than one thing'. Bayar placed the pages of the book, which he rolled one by one, solidified with liquid plastic (painting) and glossed, on the walls of the space splashed with red paint, and hung strings on the ceiling on which texts from the book were written by hand and in black ink. Bayar completed his work with a video of a crying woman.
