Istanbul Rotary Club organized the 9th Rotary Art Competition and Exhibition this year. 573 participants applied to the competition, whose selection committee included Ayşe Umur, Başak Şenova, Can Elgiz, Gülsün Karamustafa, Işın Önol, M. Özalp Birol and Nihat Karaköse; 16 artists were entitled to be included in the exhibition catalogue, and 4 artists were entitled to be exhibited. Achievement awards were presented to Melis Cantürk, Buğra Göksu and Egemen Tuncer, among the 4 artists who were entitled to be exhibited at the award ceremony held at the Elgiz Museum; At the same time, these four artists won the right to participate in the art workshop to be organized within the Nesin foundation. The artist who won the first prize was Tevfik Altan Doyran; at the same time, a residency program at Florence Villa Romana was presented to the winner.
