The framework of the exhibition, which Ali Akay created based on the theories of thinkers who influenced our age such as Deleuze, Bataille, Bergson and Sibony, aimed to reflect on the concepts of “becoming” and “in between”. The exhibition, which visually explored the concept of “in between”, was attended by 8 artists from different languages and origins living in France.
Ali Akay drew attention to the following words of the philosopher Gilles Deleuze, whom he studied and taught a lot: “Becoming is neither past nor future; it exists between the two, never in the present. Becoming is to skip the present and pass “between” two points of view, the past and the future.”
